Terms of service
These terms set out the general framework under which Placed Links offers and delivers its services. Every engagement is confirmed separately in a written proposal or statement of work; these terms apply where they are not overridden by that proposal.
1. Who we are
Placed Links is a trade name of a business registered in the Netherlands. Address: Uiterwaardenstraat 338-3, 1079 DC Amsterdam, the Netherlands. KvK 32171320, VAT NL001127890B16. Contact: hello@placedlinks.com.
2. Scope of services
Placed Links provides premium backlink placements on selected SaaS platforms for paying clients. The exact deliverables — number of placements, target platforms, timelines, and reporting — are defined per engagement in a separate proposal or statement of work ("SOW").
3. Quotes and proposals
All pricing is bespoke. A quote is valid for 30 days from the date issued unless stated otherwise. A proposal becomes binding only upon written acceptance by the client and confirmation by Placed Links.
4. Payment terms
- Invoices are issued in euros (EUR) unless agreed otherwise in the SOW.
- Payment term is 14 days from invoice date unless the SOW specifies differently.
- Work begins after receipt of the agreed upfront payment, when applicable.
- Late payment may result in suspension of deliverables and statutory interest.
5. Delivery and timelines
Timelines stated in a proposal are estimates based on reasonable effort. Placement availability depends on third-party platforms and is not guaranteed within a fixed calendar date. We will communicate promptly if a placement window shifts.
6. What we do not do
Placed Links uses only white-hat outreach. We do not guarantee specific search-engine rankings, traffic volumes, or domain authority movements. Search-engine algorithms change independently of our work. We will not engage in private blog networks (PBNs), link farms, paid-link schemes that violate search-engine guidelines, or any other practice that we consider likely to harm the client's long-term organic presence.
7. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to treat non-public information shared during an engagement as confidential. Unless the client explicitly authorises a public case study, Placed Links will not identify the client by name in marketing materials. Anonymised aggregate results may be shared.
8. Intellectual property
Placed Links retains ownership of its own methodology, tooling, outreach templates, and contact database. Deliverables specific to the client (such as written placements) are licensed to the client upon full payment.
9. Liability
Placed Links' total liability under any engagement is limited to the fees paid by the client for that engagement in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or lost-profit damages. No limitation applies to liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory Dutch law.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate an engagement with 30 days' written notice, without cause. On termination, the client pays for all work performed up to the effective date and for any non-refundable commitments Placed Links has made on the client's behalf.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes will first be addressed by good-faith discussion. If unresolved, the competent court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, has exclusive jurisdiction.
12. Changes to these terms
Placed Links may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect for an ongoing engagement is the version referenced in the applicable SOW or the version published on this page at the time of acceptance, whichever is most recent.
