Placed Links is committed to protecting the personal data of everyone who visits this site or contacts us. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

Placed Links is a trade name of a business registered in the Netherlands. Address: Uiterwaardenstraat 338-3, 1079 DC Amsterdam, the Netherlands. KvK 32171320, VAT NL001127890B16. The data controller for this site is reachable at hello@placedlinks.com.
What we collect and why
Contact form submissions
When you fill in the contact form we process the name, email, company/website, target niche, platforms, budget range, and any other details you choose to share. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry and to scope a potential engagement. Legal basis: the steps you request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Email correspondence
Messages you send to us and our replies are stored in our mailbox and in our email delivery provider (Postmark). Legal basis: legitimate interest in maintaining a business record (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, for signed engagements, contractual necessity.
Server logs
Our hosting provider (Vercel) records standard access logs: IP address, timestamp, requested URL, and user-agent. Legal basis: legitimate interest in securing the site and diagnosing abuse.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not set tracking cookies and does not use third-party analytics at this time. If we add privacy-respecting analytics in the future (such as Plausible or Fathom) we will update this policy.
How long we keep your data
- Contact form submissions: up to 24 months from last interaction, then deleted.
- Email correspondence related to a signed engagement: 7 years, as required by Dutch tax law for business administration.
- Email correspondence without a signed engagement: up to 24 months from last reply, then deleted.
- Server logs: 30 days, managed by Vercel.
Who we share your data with
We use the following processors, all bound by a data processing agreement:
- Vercel Inc. — hosting and CDN (US, EU region where available).
- Postmark (ActiveCampaign LLC) — transactional email delivery (US/EU).
- Cloudflare Inc. — DNS and domain-level infrastructure (US/EU).
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers. We only share with additional parties when required by law or to enforce our rights.
International transfers
Some processors are based in the United States. Transfers to the US rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses as lawful transfer mechanisms under Chapter V GDPR.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@placedlinks.com. We will respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
